TrAC Mini-courses for Spring 2024

As we prepare for the Spring semester, here are some of the events that TrAC is organizing:

The following 1 credit mini-courses will be offered by TrAC in the Spring semester.

How to register?

To register, first sign up in the Google form for getting access: https://forms.gle/mZhrP22yMiC53tUy5

The mini-courses can be registered in three ways:

  1. For Auditing students: For students interested in auditing the course, the Google form above is sufficient.
  2. For Credit: The mini-courses are available for credit (maximum 3 credits) as an independent study (ME 590Z) under Dr. Aditya Balu. Interested students can register for the independent study by emailing benearl@iastate.edu and cc-ing baditya@iastate.edu. This step is additional to the Google form above.

Industry professionals: Industry professionals interested in the course will be able to access the course at the cost of $250 per mini-course. Interested members should fill out the Google form with the official email (required for providing the certificate of completion and also for emailing the invoice).

1. How do I register for the independent study courses?

As mentioned above, please email benearl@iastate.edu and cc baditya@iastate.edu.

2. Can I combine a few courses from DLRG and a few from ADLRG for the independent study?

Yes! This is provided that you are able to benefit from the ADLRG courses given the fact that ADLRG courses assume some preliminary understanding before.

3. I have registered for the course, what’s the process?

Once you register, just sit and relax. On the day of the first class of the mini-course, we will send out the email meeting request with the Zoom link.
